Product Enhancements
DISCO rolls out new features and enhancements in three phases: crawl, walk, and run. These phases allow our team to obtain user feedback and performance data before a full release on all DISCO databases. You can read more about these phases here.
3/2/26
Overlapping Bates number warning enhancements - Prevent unintentional Bates number overlaps through a combination of bolded warning prompts and a mandatory confirmation prompt before running a production. This update is in run, and widely available on all matters after 3/2.
Pinned select doc column in search - The select doc checkbox column on the doc list will now remain visible during horizontal scrolling, allowing users to more easily reference other columns of their data. This update is in run, and widely available on all matters after 3/2.
3/16/26
Expanded Search Term Report Highlighting Limit - Term highlighting and hit jumping in the Doc Viewer now support Search Term Reports with up to 2,000 rows. This increase ensures consistent highlighting across both STR and Global search hits. This update is in run, and widely available on all matters after 3/16.
Failed Review Database deletion - Delete failed databases directly from the UI, enabling independent resource cleanup without contacting support. This update is in run, and widely available on all matters after 3/16.
3/23/26
Microsoft Teams chat streams support - Native ingest now automatically identifies Teams chat data within standard email exports (PSTs). Similar to Slack functionality, DISCO will now process and parse this data in 24-hour increments without any preprocessing, streamlining review workflows. You can learn more about this functionality here. This update is in run, and widely available on all matters after 3/23.
Direct Access to Email Message IDs - Message ID for emails and Teams chats is now available as a field in the document list, allowing users to use and export this metadata. This update is in walk, and available on all new matters created after 3/23.
Extended Matter Inactivity Threshold - Extended matter inactivity threshold from two days to three weeks to reduce wait times for users logging into databases that haven't been accessed recently. This update is in run, and widely available on all matters after 3/23.
3/30/26
Auto Review metadata evaluation - In addition to document text, Auto Review will now evaluate document metadata (like filenames and filepaths) to identify relevant information. This feature is in walk, and available on all Auto Reviews performed after 3/30.
Improved Organization Metrics - The Org Metrics interface has been redesigned to help org admins better manage their cases and get insights on their databases. Searching and filtering have been improved to provide faster, more consistent results, and data metrics now align with your billable size and high water mark for the month, giving you a clear view of monthly hosting totals regardless of where your data is stored. This feature is in walk, and available on all matters created after 3/30.
Improved case lifecycle management - Enhanced case lifecycle management allows users to easily manage the end-to-end upkeep of their databases with less reliance on the DISCO team for routine lifecycle operations. All matter-related databases can be surfaced in a single consistent view for greater speed, clarity, and control. This feature is in walk, and available on all matters created after 3/30.
Exhibit set sidesheet mass action UI- Updated exhibit set mass action capabilities now appear in a sidesheet, providing more room for additional information and tools, and making them more consistent with other mass actions. This update is in run, and widely available on all matters after 3/230.
