- In the General settings section, type the Report name, and select a File format (CSV or XLSX). If you would like to receive the report to your email on a regular basis, select the checkbox next to Receive report on a scheduled cadence. You will then be asked to enter information for the scheduled send. Add Email addresses separated by commas, select a Report frequency using the dropdown, enter the Time of email, and select a Time Zone from the dropdown.
- Below are the following actions you can take in this section:
- Remove a filter from a field: Click the
icon next to the filter.

- Add a filter to a field: Click the dropdown on the right of the filters and choose a filter from the dropdown by selecting the checkbox next to the filter. Alternatively, use the Search bar to find the filter and select the checkbox next to the filter. For dates, you will see options to enter dates using a calendar, and for values, you will see a freeform to type the value along with a dropdown for Less than, More than, and Equal. Note: you will not be able to filter fields that are text fields.
- Remove a filter: Click the
icon to the right of the field. Note that this will not be available for field necessary to create the report (e.g. Matter name, Matter case type, and Custodian identifier are fields that cannot be removed for a custom Matters and Custodians report).
- Move a field: Drag and drop fields below or above other fields using the
icon on the left of each field. Note that this will not be available for field necessary to create the report (e.g. Matter name, Matter case type, and Custodian identifier are fields that cannot be moved in a custom Matters and Custodians report).
- Remove and add fields: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click + Add field. This will open the Report fields panel. Here you can search for fields and add and remove fields to the report by selecting and deselecting the checkbox next to each field. Once the appropriate fields have been selected, click Done.
- Once all General Settings and Report Details have been confirmed, you may preview the report by clicking Preview Report in the upper right corner. Once previewed, you may click Save and Download. If you are opting to receive the report on a scheduled cadence, you will have a Save and Schedule button instead.
- Once the custom report has been created, you will be able to see it under Custom Reports, along with the parameters it was created with. Here, you can click the 3 dots icon on the left side under Actions and you will see options to Download the report, Send Now (for scheduled reports), Edit, and Delete.
